What you will be doing
We are a small, new CIC and our growth depends on our community of volunteers, directors, staff and customers. We are looking for volunteers who are open to working with us in a variety of ways - hand out leaflets, fundraise, handle enquiries, come up with project ideas, support us at events, run your own events etc etc. We want volunteers to tell us how they can help and what they think we should be doing and help us get where we want to be.
Who are we?
Pawsitive Action Leeds CIC is a dog training company with a difference. Our aim is to make assistance dogs and pets accessible to everyone by offering adaptable training to owners, sharing specialist knowledge and raising awareness. We are currently small and new but our long term goals include opening a daycare with subsided places for disabled owners, offering qualifications in animal care to disabled people and campaigning nationally for more awareness on issues surrounding assistance dogs.
Who are you?
You are someone who loves dogs as much as we do! You do not have to have experience working or volunteering in any specific field (but if you do tell us about it!) so long as you can demonstrate a passion for our goals. We will do our best to support volunteers attending any relevant training.
So, want to come aboard and help shape our future? Well, we don't believe in complicated forms or strenuous interviews so just fill in your details and we will arrange a chat.
