Dreamnight at Belfast Zoo

At Belfast Zoo, we believe the Zoo should be a place where everyone can enjoy memorable experiences together while connecting with wildlife and nature. Alongside caring for hundreds of animals, Belfast Zoo plays an important role in conservation, education and inspiring future generations to care for the natural world.

Dreamnight at the Zoo is one of our most meaningful events of the year, a special evening for children with additional needs, long-term illnesses or disabilities and their families. The event provides a relaxed, welcoming environment filled with activities, animal experiences and opportunities for families to simply enjoy time together.

To help make Dreamnight possible, we are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to support families and activities throughout the evening.

We are looking for volunteers who are:

• Friendly, approachable and reliable

• Confident communicating with children and families

• Passionate about helping others

• Calm, patient and happy to work as part of a team

You do not need previous Zoo experience, just a positive attitude and a willingness to help create a special evening for local families.
