This is a flexible role to attend events across Leeds, working closely with NHS and Public Health supporting their approach to improve vaccine uptake.
Talking to people and increasing awareness of NHS vaccine programmes across the life course including maternal, child and adolescent, adult and seasonal vaccination programmes.
Activities include -receiving and sharing key messages about vaccines, talking with your friends/family and communities. Using your networks and social media to raise awareness of vaccines (eg Childhood immunisations, MMR, Shingles, HPV, Flu and Covid vaccines) to help people to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.
We will provide you with up to date information through our newsletter and regular contact via emails.
There is a wide range of support available linked to this opportunity:
Access to the training you need to have effective conversations
Regular training to keep up to date with key vaccine information
Opportunities to meet with NHS and Public Health team to share your insight and what you have heard when talking to people and communities
